- refined oil as required

- 1/2 teaspoon spice cardamom

How to make Pesara Boorelu Recipe
Step 1
Wash rice under cold running water and soak it in the water overnight. Do the same method for the dals and soak them separately. The next day, boil the dals in a large vessel over medium flame. When it turns soft, drain the excess water and mash it pleasantly.

Now, heat a deep pan and add jaggery in it and cook for a while over medium flame and then, put green cardamom powder to it and mix it well. Add the mashed dals in the pan and cook with a little water.

When the mixture turns thick and all of the water has evaporated, turn off the flame. And take out on a plate and let it cool down. After the temperature has come down to normal and then make small balls out of it and keep them separately on a plate.
Step 4
Now, take the soaked rice and put it in the blender with a some water and salt. Then blend well to make a thick batter. Take the batter out in a medium bowl. Heat oil in a kadhai over medium flame. Dip the dal balls in the rice batter and slowly put them one-by-one in the oil.
Step 5
Deep-fry them till they turn golden in colour. Repeat the process for all the balls. Take out pesara Boorelu on a tissue paper to soak excess oil and serve hot.
